FREE SUMMER WORKSHOP

For High School Students

This eight week workshop offers theory and hands–on experience and will help you learn if a career in Electrical and Computer Engineering Technology is right for you.

Upon successful completion of this seminar and enrolling in the ECET program at Purdue University Calumet, you will be awarded credit for ECET 100.

The ECET program at Purdue University Calumet offers fundamental theory and a laboratory environment for students to develop skills and explore the world of Electrical and Computer Engineering Technology. The job outlook for Engineering Technology students is expected to be excellent for the next 15 years. Graduates of the ECET program work in a wide variety of industries with jobs which involve:

  • Designing and developing electronic products
  • Field service and technical sales
  • Computer Networking
  • Computer Hardware/Software
  • Electrical Power
  • Wireless Electronics
